Eagles running back, Darren Sproles is out for the season. Philadelphia eagles running, Darren Sproles, is out for the season, because he tore his acl ligament and broke his arm on the same play. Sproles was injured in the 1st half in a game against the new york Giants. Originally they thought he hurt his wrist. They didn’t think he hurt his knee, because he walked off under his own power. The injuries were caused when he slipped, and his foot slid, and he awkwardly planted into the ground while getting hit in the legs by giants safety, Darian Thompson. But that wasn’t it for Sproles, while he was falling to the ground a lineman got shoved and fell on to his arm. Eagles coach Doug Pederson says that he hopes to have Sproles back by next season and doesn't want him to retire.
